Homemade butter is extremely simple to make and only contains one ingredient!  I love adding mix-ins later, like garlic/chives or orange zest/cinnamon/honey. It’s so much fun to make different kinds of butter! Save the buttermilk for other recipes, like delicious cornbread or pancakes.  See below for my easy butter recipe and YouTube video. Enjoy!

- 1 piny organic heavy cream

1. Pour heavy cream into a food processor.
2. Run food processor for 3-5 minutes or until liquids and solids separate.
3. Pour the butter and buttermilk through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
4. Use a rubber spatula or metal spoon to press any remaining liquid out of the butter.
5. Pour the buttermilk into an airtight container and refrigerate.

6. Wash the butter under cold water to remove any remaining buttermilk.

7. Press the butter in a silicone butter mold or store it in any airtight container and refrigerate.  Enjoy!
