My oven roasted chicken is so juicy and delicious! It's a simple meal that my whole family enjoys! Even my dog loves it! Make sure you save the carcass to make a nutritious broth, which is great for soups! Enjoy!

-1 whole pastured chicken, giblets removed
-Extra virgin olive oil
-Dried sage, thyme, and oregano
-Garlic powder
-Paprika
-Black pepper
-Salt
1. Preheat oven to 425º F.
2. Place the chicken into a bowl and rub extra virgin olive oil over the entire chicken.
3. Sprinkle the herbs and seasonings onto the chicken and rub.
4. Transfer the chicken to a roasting pan and cook uncovered for 1.5 hours or until fully cooked (a digital thermometer should read 165º F). Cooking time will depend on your oven and the size of your bird.
5. Slice and enjoy!
